Howdy!
Our wikispace will explore how global climate change is effecting Earth's flora and fauna. From the poor polar bears losing their precious ice caps, to the environments that are gradually shifting in composition due to ever-changing climates, we will explain the direct impact of this crisis on the plant and animal life that we all know an love. Our group consists of Lauren Mackay, Teresa Orozco, Haochen Ren, and Ryan Derry; over the next two weeks, we will gather as much information on these changes as we possibly can. This is sure to be an eye-opening and depressing experience...
Let the battle for truth and change begin right here on this wikispace!

The findings of our research have been congruent with our prediction; the life on Earth is suffering from the climate change. Environments around the globe are shifting too quickly for nature to adapt to, and the projected outcomes loom devastatingly in the future. Imagine a world where the mighty polar bear and the salmon are distant relics of a long time passed. Unless we take proactive measures as a human race to prevent climate change, we have sentenced our planet to a slow and painful death by ecological asphyxiation.

Hope still lives on, though. We can change. There is pressure on governments around the world to pass legislation that would require cleaner energy production and industrial processes. On a smaller scale, simple changes can be made around your home to stem the advancing tide of climate change. You can turn off the lights when you are not in a room, use cold water instead of hot, or simply bike to the store instead of drive there. Although the effects of these changes seems negligible when viewed through the scope of an individual scale, if we as a human race adopted these evironmentally concious policies, serious good could be made in the fight for climatic stabilization.

The next time you are presented with a choice between taking the easy route or making a slight effort to be environmentally friendly, think of Hope the polar bear and her cubs struggling to survive on the melting ice caps in the north pole. Ultimately, the power to cause mass extinction is in our hands. We must choose wisely if we wish to keep our planet as wonderfully diverse as it is today.
